I got a bit caught out today and it took me a while to figure out why - so thought I'd share just in case anyone else comes across this.
I was bouncing down audio for a track that has a section where the tempo changes from slow to quick. My VST audio bounces were all fine, but I noticed a couple of parts where I was using a hardware synth that had started to go out of time over the tempo change section.
I tracked down that all the bounced and recorded files had defaulted to mode = Stretch.
I just though it was a bit odd that the recorded files were going out of time, but the bounced files were not - even though all were in stretched mode.
Anyway - thought it was a bit odd.
