I'm really excited to announce the release of osci-render 2.0! Osci-render is a synthesizer for making music by drawing objects, text, and images on an oscilloscope using audio.

You can pay what you want for it on https://osci-render.com/ and it's available for Windows, macOS, and Linux, as both a standalone application, and a VST3 or AU audio plugin.

Osci-render supports rendering 3D object files, SVG vector images, and text files, as well as animated scenes from Blender!

It's also fully-programmable in Lua, meaning if you have a tiny bit of programming experience (or want an excuse to learn
You can get started by creating or opening a .txt, .svg, .obj, or .lua file. Or you can just play around with the default circle! From here, have an experiment with each of the effects on offer and make something that looks or sounds cool

Since osci-render is open-source, you can contribute to it here: https://github.com/jameshball/osci-render
Please feel free to provide feedback, bugs, or improvements here or on the Discord: https://discord.com/invite/ekjpQvT68C
